September Week 4 Day 24 UPowerUp!

God Convicts, Corrects  and Crowns

Beloved... What a mighty God we serve! This I recall to my mind. Therefore I have hope because of the LORD's great love, we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. The faithful, steadfast and unconditional love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease.

Do not judge and criticize and condemn [others unfairly with an attitude of self-righteous superiority as though assuming the office of a judge], so that you will not be judged [unfairly]. For just as you [hypocritically] judge others [when you are sinful and unrepentant], so will you be judged; and in accordance with your standard of measure [used to pass out judgment], judgment will be measured to you. Why do you look at the [insignificant] speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice and acknowledge the [egregious] log that is in your own eye?
— Matthew 7:1-3 (AMP)

Heavenly Father, this WORD calls for self-examination and repentance for judging others, as well as the reassurance of God's grace when we are unfairly judged by others. But when we are judged by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be condemned with the world. God does not condemn, He convicts, chastises and corrects us. Abba, our loving Father, corrects, reproves and disciplines everyone He loves. So being diligent and zealous; I turn from our indifference, and I repent.

For God, being compassionate, forgave our iniquity and did not destroy us; and often He restrained His anger and did not arouse all His wrath... And in His wrath, O Lord, we pray that He remembers mercy and loving kindness towards us. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. He will not look at us in anger. Who will bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is there to condemn us? For Christ Jesus, who died, and more than that was raised to life, is at the right hand of God—and He is interceding for us.…

So do not judge me because You don't know the battles or assignments that God has asked me to take, to demonstrate His love towards us, His children. You don't know the scene, I am in that script nor do you have the full knowledge of the plot... God holds the pen of my story for His Glory. I have learnt that if you judge, God's servants at the early/premature stages of their life journey, you will misunderstand their God story...

What if you were to judge:

  • Joseph at various stages in his life, in the pit or in prison
  •  Daniel in the den; 3 Hebrew boys thrown the fiery furnace
  •  Moses tending the sheep for His father-in-law;
  • Noami, when she said call me Mara! "Don't call me Naomi," she told them. "Call me Mara, because the Almighty has made my life very bitter." (Ruth 1:20)
  • Job during his calamity, trials and tribulations, when even his wife and friends condemned and judged him. Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die.” (Job 2:9)
  • Hannah, who cried out for God's help for deliverance from barrenness while her rival Peninnah tormented her, as she triumphs in her fruitfulness
  • David, who was overlooked by his family, was anointed as King, running for his life from Saul and hiding in the caves. During his ordeal, David wrote nearly the entire book of Psalms. David, proclaimed, "His glory is great because of Your victory; Splendor and majesty You bestow upon him. For You make him most blessed [and a blessing] forever; You make him joyful with the joy of Your presence. For the king [confidently] trusts in the Lord, and through the lovingkindness (faithfulness, goodness) of the Most High he will never be shaken." (Psalm 21:5-7)

If you unfairly judged these Servants of the Lord, you would have misunderstood their God's assignments, missed the dazzling display of God's grace, love and faithfulness, and their breakthroughs that bought God, Olympic Glory.... And gives great hope to us today!

Not to mention, the great lesson from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was judged and crucified on the cross; But in 3 days resurrected, glorified and victorious over life and death with the evidence of the empty tomb. Luke 23:39-43 tells us... One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: "Aren't you the Christ? Save yourself and us!" But the other criminal rebuked him. "Don't you fear God," he said, "since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong." Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom." Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."  So which thief represents us and our attitude for unfairly judging others, without knowledge of their calling or God-ordained assignment?

I decree and declare that in the year 2017, me and my children are candidates of the LORD's mercy and His lovingkindness; that in the day of judgement and wickedness, we are not consumed, for His steadfast love never failed us and His faithfulness is always great towards us.

For God, He has favoured me! He will protect, defend and defeat all weapons formed against me and I condemn all tongues that rise up against me in judgement... "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord. (Isaiah 54:1)

For God, He is gracious towards me and all my concerns! He is the God who can turn any situation around. "Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You." (Jeremiah 32:1

O LORD God, my life, my time, my season, and my situations are in You Righteous Right Hand. You can use anything Lord, use me! So it doesn't matter what others think of or say about me. It's imperative that I know how much You love me, whom I belong, and who You are. For there is nothing too hard for You! You are limitless in power, might and ability. There is nothing You cannot do and no situation that You cannot turn around. O Lord, by the Blood of Jesus, overturn and expire evil curses of judgement, false accusations, barrenness, rejections, failures, and opposition against me. Situations that look impossible to us are nothing before You, O Lord. There is no sickness too gross, no sin too great and no problem too overwhelming that my God cannot overcome. He IS The Almighty God, All-Powerful, Sovereign God, All-Knowing, All-Loving, Faithful Father! My God who will take the very worst things that happened in my life by working all things together for the very best outcomes for good and for His Glory. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. The Sovereign Lord is my strength, He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to go on the heights. Greater is He who is in me than He who is in the world. Jesus has given me and left me His Peace. The world didn't give it to me, and the world can't take my peace from me. I will not let my heart be troubled, and I shall not be afraid.

In the name of Jesus, I commit my life, my children, my household, family, finances, future, careers/businesses, callings/ministries, work of our hands, and our destiny to God. For I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that He is able to keep, guard, protect, perfect, prosper, perform, and establish that which I have committed unto Him against that day. My God will cover me, cleanse me, correct me, and crown me with the redemptive and victorious Blood of Jesus. He shall supply me until full and overflow with His glorious riches in Heaven for superabundant blessings, financial breakthroughs, miracles of healings, and supernatural deliverance. In Jesus mighty name, I pray. Amen!!
