September Week 3 Day 19 UPOWERUP!
Encouraged. Equipped. Empowered. Elevated!
Beloved... Grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. Through these, He has given us His precious and magnificent promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, now that you have escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
“So put to death and deprived of power the evil longings of your earthly body [with its sensual, self-centered instincts] immorality, impurity, sinful passion, evil desire, and greed, which is [a kind of] idolatry [because it replaces your devotion to God]. Because of these [sinful] things the [divine] wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience [those who fail to listen and who routinely and obstinately disregard God’s precepts], and in these [sinful things] you also once walked, when you were habitually living in them [without the knowledge of Christ]. But now rid yourselves [completely] of all these things: anger, rage, malice, slander, and obscene (abusive, filthy, vulgar) language from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, for you have stripped off the old self with its evil practices, and have put on the new [spiritual] self who is being continually renewed in true knowledge in the image of Him who created the new self—”
Heavenly Father, I can hear you calling me to go deeper, climb higher, and seek You more... Lord, often, I feel so inadequate, insufficient, unworthy, indiscipline, overwhelmed and afraid. But that's when I hear the voice of my Shepherd, reminding me of His provision and plans that are already prepared, predestined and purposed for me.
I can hear the whisper of the everlasting and steadfast love of my Abba Father saying, "My Child, be encouraged, be equipped, be empowered and be elevated, as I transform you with my LOVE; demonstrated by My grace, goodness, gladness, greatness, gift, glory and the gospel."
My Child, I have given you:
- - The Lord and Savior, My Only Son, Jesus Christ
- - The Gift of Salvation
- - The Precious Blood of Jesus
- - The Resurrection Power
- - The presence of the Holy Spirit, the Advocate, your Helper
Heavenly Father, Your plan, Your precious and very great promises are that I enjoy total life prosperity - spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically, socially, intellectually, relationally, financially and eternally. Riches and honor are with God; enduring wealth and righteousness (right standing with God).
Today, I choose to take my God at His Word and to trust Him at all times and in all circumstances. This is the day, I make a choice and the commitment to change; to be completely transformed in Christ!
I choose to shake off and leave this old life of mediocrity and ungodliness; I desire to experience more of God's holiness, power, and glory in me. Today, I choose to be a new creation in Christ. I am stepping out of the comfort zone... Letting go of me... Holding onto You, LORD! Less of me and more of you, O Lord... He must increase, but I must decrease!
I know that for me to grow higher, I must grow deeper roots in God. Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. Father, like Jesus, please help me to grow increasingly in faith, stature, virtue, gratitude, love, obedience, worship, wisdom, power, honor, favor, wealth, and influence...
Today, I choose to become more fruitful by multiplying and harvesting a Christ-like Character and having a Conduct of more love, joy, peace, longsuffering, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, gentleness, temperance and self-control. I choose to seek the LORD my God earnestly, and I will find Him if I search for Him with all my heart and all my soul. I choose to enthusiastically and passionately seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto me. I choose to no longer worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own. I choose not be anxious about anything, but in everything by fervent prayer and supplication with thanksgiving to let my requests be made known to God.
Lord, You are actively watching over Your Word ready to perform it. I hold You accountable to fulfill Your Word in my life and my circumstances:
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.
'Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you,' declares the LORD, 'and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you,' declares the LORD, 'and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.'
'Behold, I will bring it health and healing, and I will heal them, and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth.
Today, I am excited! I am encouraged, equipped, empowered, energized and elevated by my Father's LOVE. I am transformed by the redemption, revelation, and relationship of a deeper more intimate knowledge of my God, my personal Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ. I have experienced and encountered the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. I will never be the same!! I'm unashamed!! I 'm redeemed!! So, here, I am, O LORD... Rebound, Refreshed and Renewed!
